Engineering roles
Engineering guides
The Engineering department is responsible for keeping the lights on and the air breathable aboard Artea vessels. Without Engineering none of the other departments would be able to do their job.
Duties of the Engineering department are:
- Repairing damage of all kinds.
- Keeping the lights on.
- Ensuring the air is safe to breathe.
Throughout a shift a lot can happen that might compromise the structural integrity of the vessel. Anything from mice chewing on wires and causing blackouts to asteroids tearing through the hull. Being prepared at all times to swiftly and efficiently respond to emergencies is therefore the key to success for engineering.
