Anything from mice chewing on wires and causing blackouts to asteroids tearing through the hull. Being prepared at all times to swiftly and efficiently respond to emergencies is therefore the key to success for engineering.

The Engineering department is responsible for keeping the lights on and the air breathable aboard Artea vessels. Without Engineering none of the other departments would be able to do their job.

Chief Engineer
The Chief Engineer is the person responsible for the structural well-being of the Station or Ship. As Chief Engineer you will find yourself more often than not overseeing the work that Engineers are doing and making sure that it is all up to standard. It is highly recommended that Chief engineers are proficient with all facets of engineering work.

Station Engineer
Station Engineers do the heavy lifting for the department. Responding to Damages of all sorts is your primary duty and ensuring that the station runs like an oiled machine is a close second. When things are not breaking you are free to work on hobby projects like experimental engine designs.

Roboticists are responsible for looking after Synthetic crew members, Constructing Mechs, Making and Enhancing MODsuits and everything else that has to do with Robotics. A lot of materials are used in the tasks mentioned, be sure to upgrade your workspace and use resources sparingly.
